Six Rockingham schools seek new chillers this winter
Rockingham County Public Schools will replace aging chillers at Broadway High School Mountain View South River Peak View Linville Edom and Plains elementary schools. Estimated costs 180000 to 400000 per site with total project budget 950000 to 1.3 million funded largely from leftover school division funds approved by the Board of Supervisors. Bids will be opened October 24 with contract award the next day and work must finish by March 15.
