Elkton Garden Club Show And Wreath Traditions
The Elkton Garden Club stayed active with garden tours of Clyde and Debbie McDaniel and Bill and Joan Hitt. It laid wreaths on Memorial Day Veterans Day and the Fourth of July at Blue Star Memorial by BB&T Bank on Stuart Avenue. The group helped at a local Assisted Living facility with flowers and room arrangements and made Christmas swags for front doors. A major event was the first public flower show at the Church of Salsburg, a long sought goal described as a successful effort.
