Hensleys take over Elkton Florist in Penn Laird
Judy and Ted Hensley assume ownership of the Elkton Florist on Florist Road after Nelson and Velma Dofflemyer sell the store in January. The duo reopened Feb 10 with coaching from the former owners. Judy, a lifelong flower enthusiast, plans expanded arrangements and local fundraising events while Ted helps with transit duties. A separate note mentions a longaberger basket bingo fundraiser for Elkton Crushers and Elkton Ridge Runners travel baseball teams at VFW Post 9292 on March 25 with presale tickets available.
