The Wall of Honor along Terrace Avenue at Stonewall Memorial Park gained a 100 foot extension. EPIC seeks new names for a third bronze plaque costing 100 dollars per 26 letters, enough for about two names, with 12 names currently filled.

Fundraiser boosts Elkton resident's kidney transplant hopes
In Elkton at Blue Ridge Park families joined dozens of children including two year old Stacy Shifflett in an all day fundraiser for Linda Shifflett, a 64 year old dialysis patient seeking insurance supplemental funds for a kidney transplant. Her daughter notes dialysis keeps her alive but a new kidney would restore life. The effort follows Linda Shifflett's heart event and stenting last May. SEE BENEFIT, PAGE 6.
