Community unites to aid Zander and Roach families
Elkton Domino's owner Ray Sellers and staff raise 50 percent of last Thursday’s profits for the Ethan Zander and Jeffrey Trey Roach families after a May 22 U.S. 33 crash. The store set a pie-making record with 314 in an hour and raised 7200 to support the two families, drawing help from nearby towns.

Bryant Returns as Elkton Elementary Principal in Homecoming
Elkton native Chris Bryant, a 1993 Spotswood High School graduate, was hired as Elkton Elementary’s new principal. Bryant, 39, will start July 1 and called the appointment a homecoming, expressing extreme excitement about returning to the district where he attended the school as a child.

Hogan aids storm victims in Texas disaster relief
Robert Hogan, 72, a Red Cross volunteer from Elkton, staffed with about 80 to 90 volunteers at New Braunfels and other satellite bases after Texas floods and tornadoes last month. He oversees moving supplies and notes all help is donation funded. The Red Cross runs shelters and directs victims to additional aid networks.
