Lions Club gifts $3500 to Elkton Clinic
McGaheysville Massanutten Lions Club district 24C donated 3500 with no restrictions to Elkton Family and Children’s Medical Clinic. Club president Pat Nemmers noted strong grant support from weekly bingo and an annual golf event, funding 30 000 to 40 000 yearly. Clinic Director Pete Hill said he was ecstatic.

Wagon accident injures 14 near Stanley during Christmas rides
Arnold Dean, driver of a Stanley wagon with 21 passengers, was rear ended by John Anthony Anderson II. The trolley wagon bolted, Dean was dragged and run over, suffering six broken ribs and a deflated lung. Dean and Freeze women remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
