Random acts of kindness spread at Christmas time
A Shenandoah and Elkton area reflection notes how small, neighborly gestures brighten lives beyond the holiday rush. Elkton residents share acts of generosity from a stranger gifting knitted hats to a chemo patient, to cookies brought to a McDonald’s table, and local groups organizing parades and charity events. Community programs, thrift stores, and schools continue year round to aid families, with EAUS distributing food, and 1,800 cans donated by Cub Run Elementary to EAUS last month.
