Elkton Middle honors former principal Dudash with granite marker
In Elkton, Ramona Pence and officials unveiled a large granite marker at the EMS football field and track to honor Joe Dudash for 23 years of service as coach, teacher, and principal across Elkton High School, Elkton Intermediate, and Elkton Middle. Monument to Adam Miller slated for Elk Run Cemetery dedication
A monument honoring early settler Adam Miller will be dedicated May 9 at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton. Historian John Wayland notes Miller helped populate the Shenandoah Valley more than 250 years ago, bringing his family to the area in 1727 and founding early frontier life with a log cabin and the first local church.

Elkton Town Council held a budget workshop and emergency meeting identifying a target of 100000 in savings from the proposed fiscal year budget of 4947889, about 2 percent.
