East Rock holds off Broadway in 10-2 softball win
ERHS improved to 10-2 behind Jessica Lam who went 2 for 4 with a homer and three runs. Lam, Lam’s homer and Mickey Eppard’s RBI double helped build a 6-3 lead after seven innings. Cantrell led Broadway with two hits and two RBIs, but two fifth inning errors and a late rally fell short as ERHS stayed in control.
