Destination Imagination Virginia teams showcase imagination
Spotswood High School hosts a full day regional Destination Imagination event drawing 1,000 students and about 3,000 supporters. Teams from Spotswood, Peak View Elementary and Elkton Middle competed, with EMS’s DIrectors winning prize and a trip to Global Finals at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and Peak View’s Bubbles of the Underworld also earning Globals.

Elkton Chief of Police Aaron Hammer cites a month of eight breaking and entering cases with one arrest for four offenses and ongoing manhunts for others. Six offenses targeted businesses, two on parked vehicles, plus nine domestic disputes and one assault and battery in the period.
