An Ap editor at a New York magazine accidentally included the writer's address on the top page of a manuscript sent to a young author in Worthington. In a cover letter he requested a wash drawing of a scene, but the reply denied knowledge of any dealer or commission, stating no agreement existed and no wake drawing would occur.
Boley founder Haynes toured Tulwa this week on business and praised the city as the best town in Mis Home except Holey, planning further investment and advertising. He discussed founding Vernon, Oklahoma, a new colored town said to rival Boley and hinted at continued local support.

The Tuskegee Band, Orchestra and Glee Club will perform at the Grand Opera House next Friday night and a full house is expected. Tickets are selling fast at Economy Drug Store on North Greenwood, Netherland Barber Shop and Star Cleaning Parlor on North Boston, with Rex Drug Store on So. Main stopping sales after June 17.
Prof H. B. Britt, nationally known vocalist, will sing at the First Baptist Church next Tuesday. A program of local talent will be rendered with all invited. Admission ten cents.
