Colored teacher’s expanded role in Oklahoma City

Star News Service reports Mrs. Scott Brown has rapidly advanced in Oklahoma City Colored schools. Formerly with Muskogee schools she led English and Normal departments. Last spring she took charge of Manual Training and now supervises all grades. She was elected first vice president of the State Teachers’ Association.

Principals Association to Meet in Oklahoma City

The Colored Principal's Association is called to meet in Oklahoma City at Dunbar School on Saturday February 14 at 10 o'clock to discuss matters affecting Oklahoma's separate schools. Negro Makes Good In Entirely New Field
