Mrsit Clark of Muskogee led the session with a community song and a Sand Springs Glee encore. Talks covered the Jewnnes Fund Rosen Wall Fund extension work, literacy progress, and a call to unite communities to collaborate and strengthen efforts.
First day of the Oklahoma Colored Teachers Meet begins late due to a football game between Muskogee and Tulsa. Revivers include a vocal solo by Miss Mildred Warner and an Ave Marie performance. Speeches by IL W. Miles of Tulsa and Miss Juanita Cord of Sapulpa receive strong responses. Encored performances and a rousing Villanelle by Mrs. Berenice Ellis Perdue highlight the program as committees form for exhibits and obituaries.

A compilation of attendees from Guthrie Okmulgee Muskogee and Pawnee includes A J Seales Prof WH Forte Miss Nannie Day and Prof WT W Grissom with Mrs Seales and others. Prof S L Hargrove presided as conductor as Prof S E Shannon opened a talk on how colleges relate to high schools. Prof Porter and others argued the pair are a linked educational chain while some say the high school now stands as an education in itself. The discussion was closed by Prof S L Hargrove.
In Chicago on December 4 Dr Elbert Juimnsen, described as colored, was found guilty by a jury of operating a confidence game. He and associates allegedly used money from victims to fund lawsuits over a patent dispute involving a wheel and car parts. The trial featured loans from the purchasers and a hired driver transporting Robinson to court scenes.
A reported high school meeting featured debates on English supervision on playgrounds, Latin as elective, and curriculum equality for Negro and White schools. Professors from Claremore Guthrie Shawnee and Tulsa urged cooperation and policy changes while a moderator closed the session after six topics.
Thanksgiving Day reached at least twenty destitute colored families in Muskogee with groceries and clothing distributed by the Colored Associated Charities under Mra L. M. Hanks. Twenty children and thirty adults benefited as faculty and patrons contributed groceries. Donations for Christmas distribution are urged.
Savannah observers celebrated the Golden Anniversary of the entry of President Richard R. Wright into his career as a teacher. The event occurred last Thursday from eight to eleven p.m. in Savannah Georgia, honoring his long and aggressive service in education.
The President appointed a committee to confer on how the association can best help Langston University. A demonstration of physical culture and folk dancing from Sand Spriggs is noted as part of the event.

The Tulsa teachers hosted a fine banquet at the Stafford Hotel with a splendid hall, tables, and menu. Alonzo Lewis offered a strong vocal solo as the group praised Tiley as a leader in hospitality. The next meeting will be in Muskogee with plans to adjust resources to fit Tulsa.
Mrs. Sarah Dawson a longtime Muskegon resident dies at 106. Funeral today at 1 at Rebee Memorial C. M. E. Church on South Seventh Street. Survived by 14 children 30 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Age not stated in text but her death marks a long life.
Miss Jane Daney of Oklahoma City spent last week in the city as a guest of Miss Mattie Mitchell at 512 North Hartford while attending the Teachers' Association event.
In Bartlesville Oklahoma on December 3 Hon Richard J Hill of Tulsa spoke at the Methodist church on None Shall Die in a lecture titled Millions Now Living Will Never Die The audience included white and colored residents and professionals who praised his address Pastor Rev G W Washington invited Hill to return and offered full cooperation for future meetings
The Exhibits of the Sand Springs Schools drew general attention and were regarded as of higher merit, showcasing student work and progress across the district.
The Muskogee Library Clube members closed a 2500.00 drive Tuesday night, bringing the total raised to 2531.84 and finalizing payment on the library site. Four clubs in the City Federation contributed, prizes were awarded, and community groups thanked for support.
Misses Ruby McKnight and Cora L. Baller of Wopeka Kansas called at the Star office Saturday of last week under the supervision of Mr Abbott, a well known printer.
