Chin Expansion Plan under review by the Province

The St. Mary River Irrigation District filed an NRCB MEPA notice Aug 13 detailing the Chin expansion project. Aims include a ~40 m dam to flood about 650 ha of Chin Coulee and raise Chin West Dam for higher storage at Chin Reservoir, the SMRID's largest off stream reservoir.

Transportation Master Plan Open House dates announced

The M D of Taber will host in person Transportation Master Plan open houses on September 10 at the Main Operations Facility and September 11 at the Vauxhall Seniors Centre from 6 to 8 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. local times. Arles Crofts notes the events review the draft TMP with January 2024 engagement insights and feedback opportunities, plus a Zoom session on September 17.
