Taber MD to award bridge contract for girder replacement
At the October 22 council meeting Corey Greene proposed accepting the low bid for Bridge File 80186 Girder Replacement. Eleven bids ranged from $599,910 to $996,200 with Sure-Seal Contracting Ltd. the chosen bidder at $599,910 excluding GST funded 25 percent by the MD and 75 percent STIP. The project replaces failing girders on an experimental design on the MD of Taber transportation corridor.
