School board approves major upgrades to outdoor sports areas at W R Myers and D A Ferguson. Work includes new sod, regrading, drainage redirection, irrigation, and installation of six outdoor basketball hoops with a 10 foot fence, aimed for summer 2007 and ready for use by September.
The Raymond Comets dominated the Bantam Rebels 47 to 0 at home as they jumped to a 14-0 lead on a kickoff return. Rebels coach Garrett Simmons lauded Raymond speed and aggressive defense while noting dropped passes limited Taber’s offense. Rebels host Kainai at 6:30 p.m. to close regular season with playoffs to follow.
