Taber Association highlights gains in adult learning drive

The Taber and District Community Adult Learning Association reports progress across its 2007 annual review with the 18 week Families Learning Together program expanding to Taber Grassy Lake and Vauxhall. Executive Director Jane Brenner notes job shadowing and language training boost self confidence and employability among immigrants and rural residents. The year adds the ELL Drop-In Centre, a Youth Employment Program, and ongoing need for funding volunteers and locations to sustain services.
