Province Grants $500,000 to Vauxhall Academy of Baseball

Lions ship beds and aid to Chile after earthquake

The Taber Lions Club launches a relief project shipping 35 hospital beds to Chile at a cost of 6650 dollars. They aim to fill the container with children's winter clothing and non-perishable food, asking local schools for help. So far 1000 dollars is raised, with collection set for March 20 at the Taber Community Centre. The container will be loaded and shipped on March 20, taking four weeks to arrive.
