Homeowner escapes damage as tree crash spares house
Helen Fallon and her family faced a dramatic storm night when two large trees split and a 45 to 50 foot pine toppled near their home south of Taber Memorial Gardens. The pine damaged a patio table but missed the house, leaving Fallon relieved and planning replacements such as oak or elm trees. John Andres from Lethbridge and Medicine Hat helped clear debris as Fallon’s family awaited safer days.
