Crown lawyer David Thompson urged an Ontario Superior Court judge to extend punishment for the Alberta youth convicted in the 1999 killing of a W R Myers student. The now 19 year old listened as the final summation was presented on February 3, 2000. The youth remains unnamed in reporting and has a sentence of three years in prison plus seven years probation.
