Council Rejects Health and Safety Post in 2013 Budget Talks
Talon Town council at a Dec. 10 budget session pushed back on creating a new health and safety coordinator. They favored a two year contracted trial costing about 72 943 dollars and questioned whether the position would justify tax impact while discussing police budget, pump upgrade deferral, and seeking used hydro vacuum options and a lower tax increase around 1 to 1.5 percent.
