Cornfest draws visitors from near and far to Taber
Taber Cornfest 2008 drew crowds from Arizona and Colorado to Medicine Hat and southern Alberta. Randy Karren, executive director of the Taber and District Chamber of Commerce, praised strong attendance, smooth operations, and extensive volunteer support. Costs rose with fuel and rentals, but sponsorship kept the festival going with bands, entertainment, and new events like bungee and laser tag. Planning for 2009 will begin after the wind-up meeting.
