Designated Assisted Living site chosen for Taber town
The Good Samaritans Society will build a 95 designated assisted living bed facility with 25 to 35 dementia suites and 10 enhanced lodge rooms in Taber. Registered nurses will oversee care with home care nurses using an assessment tool to tailor services. Construction could start in fall with occupancy targeted for late 2007 or early 2008, pending provincial funding.
