Thousands Spent Along Mon Valley Traction Lines
Fairmont reports indicate heavy investment across all Monongahela Valley Traction Company lines with new substations, yard upgrades, gas byproduct plant development, and added interurban routes. Wesleyan Grads Entertain and Weddings in Buckhannon
In Buckhannon on June 19 the Wesleyan faculty and juniors hosted a reception in the college gymnasium for the graduating class of 1916, featuring decorated halls, games, and late hour refreshments. The Wesleyan Concert Club also performed at the Methodist Episcopal church for the Epworth League fundraiser. A wedding at the home of Mr and Mrs Willard Myre in North Buckhannon united Miss Lalla Gurk and Maraball D. Gurk with a Washington and Virginia honeymoon planned. Raymond Morgan of Erhacon and Miss Grace Rott wed quietly at the Armington home, with Rev H C Hieward officiating, and a brief honey moon to Delaware and Erbacon planned.
