Woman sought in fraud case nets two attempted check cashings
Georgetown Police report a woman tried to cash fraudulent checks with false ID around 2 30 p m June 3 at a South I 35 credit union drive through. She fled leaving checks and documents. An active case forwarded to Criminal Investigations. Also noted: 2015 Yamaha FZ 09 stolen from River Bend Drive. suspect and police pursuit in Austin ended in crash and arrest. Additional incidents include a suspicious back door noise on Georgian Drive. Milwaukee tool bag stolen from Katy Lane. a man exposing himself while asking for directions near Interstate 35. two public intoxication cases in Williamson County jail intake. and two arrests for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
