Death Of Pioneer Woman Marie Reinholdt
Marie Reinholdt wife of Henry Reinholdt died after a long illness at their northwest of Stowers home on a Wednesday. Born May 29 1872 in Laaland Denmark she lost all three children to diphtheria during a harsh summer when medical help was scarce. Funeral services were held this morning with neighbors aiding, burial beside her children on the family homestead, leaving the husband in heartfelt community sympathy.

Dan Busby was tried before Justice Wall in a two day proceeding at LeBeau and Belle Fourche. He was bound over to appear in circuit court on a $1,000 bond after a second trial on a horse theft charge. Luther Hallett, who testified for Busby, faced perjury charges and was bound over to district court on a $600 bond. both men were detained for lack of bonds.
