The South Dakota Traveling Men's Association holds its Lemmon gathering with a warm welcome from a grateful community. The Knights of Jail Grip join as guests for tomorrow. H. E. Meyers quits as jeweler, choosing Bowman as his future home. friends wish him success.
The Lemmon post office will begin operating a postal savings bank department on June 26. The feature ranks among a small set of Dakotas sites and requires Postmaster Doherty to attend a training session in Wahpeton on June 19 and 20. The government offers two percent interest to depositors and the opening will be followed by column updates on the bank's operations. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Fegley welcomed a son last Sunday. Judge Edgar M. Bennett, recovering from a paralytic stroke, will rejoin events at the traveling men’s convention.
Wednesday hearing in two divorce cases ended with judgments. Catherine C. Briggs sued Ainslee G. Briggs for non support. Ida B. Adams won a separation and child custody.
