Joe Courtney captures the mile in 1 3 0. Question wins the 1 mile at 1 4 4 3. Regina wins the 2 mile in 1 18 4.

Cleveland won 6 to 4 at Brooklyn, while St. Louis edged Washington 6 to 4. Columbus topped Baltimore 8 to 2, Milwaukee beat Boston 5 to 2, and Louisville defeated Athletic 12 to 9. In St Louis the second game ended 7 to 4 with Washington losing to St Louis after 5 innings due to darkness.
Lt. A C Baker reports Mexico will join the grand military display in Chicago on October 12 1892 with a crack Mexican army regiment. The 1893 Mexican exhibit will feature a band Rurales engineer battalion a Mexican orchestra an Aztec village clay modellers from Guadalajara a Mexican garden and a miniature of the valley of Mexico with volcanoes and lakes.
