Jefferson Davis Funeral Train Moves From Raleigh
Mrs Jefferson Davis led mourners as Raleigh joined the nation in paying last honors to Jefferson Davis. Thousands lined streets, floral tributes decorated Capitol grounds, and a multicompany procession accompanied the eight-car funeral train en route to Richmond.
