Cureaco March 25 John L Sullivan has not signed the articles of agreement sent by President Noel of the New Orleans Olympic Big The document was returned to the crescent city by Jimmy Wakely for amendments and eliminations. Sullivan and his backer were seen at the Windsor theatre last night where the champion declined to state the reasons for the return noting there is little difference between the original and amended papers and a finish fight is desired.
Deputy Marshall Riddle and deputies raided a counterfeiters den on Nevapa public square while a craps game was staged at the storehouse of C. S. Tomilson. They seized moulds and about one hundred counterfeit dollars. Ring leaders escaped as the local flood of fakes continues in southwest Missouri.
In Aprian Michigan on Erie Street a gasoline stove exploded while Mrs. Henry Lards cleaned a room. Flames ignited her and two children, the mother and older girl escaping to the yard while neighbors intervened. The boy was fatally burned and the mother and girl are believed fatally injured.
