Bold Bank Robbers Loot Little Rock Bank in Daylight

Six robbers with drawn Winchesters raided the Peoples Bank in Rogers Arkansas and left with about $10 000 in cash and gold. Citizens shot at them wounding three. two robbers were shot at the bank and a sheriff’s posse pursued them toward the Indian Territory. A skirmish occurred four miles west of Bentonville with few details. In a separate item Mrs Henry M Field widow of the late capitalist married Thos Nelson Page at Elmhurst today.

World’s Fair Rail Line via Chesapeake and Ohio

The Chesapeake and Ohio offers rapid service to the World’s Fair from Richmond and Charlottesville to Chicago in about twenty seven hours and twenty three hours respectively. Double daily vestibuled trains with Pullman sleeping and dining cars. Tickets include stops at Greenbrier and White Sulphur Springs and other G O lines. Special arrangements for organized parties.
