Ex President Grover Cleveland and Adlai Stevenson received notification of their 1892 Democratic nominations at Madison Square Garden New York July 20. A vast crowd packed the garden as Senator Wilson announced the commission from the national convention. Cleveland spoke of tariff reform and common rights while Stevenson accepted the nomination and pledged to discuss platform issues in campaign dialogue. Richmond Terminal advisory committee met briefly and adjourned subject to the chairman. The report of the conference committee was well received and to continue current lines. Company affairs have improved greatly with organization plans held in abeyance. Also notes baseball scores from yesterday and presidential nominations by telegraph to the Senate for Des Moines customs, brigadier general Carr, and Virginia post chaplain Freland.
