Public sale of valuable Raleigh residence and Lot in Wake County

In Raleigh on the first Monday of March 2m at the courthouse door the property under a deed of trust will be sold for cash. The Wake County parcel lies on Lenoir Street and Fayetteville and Salish Ty streets, bounded by the deed, with 110 feet on Lenoir Street. A second valuable residence with gas water and outbuildings is described, subjected to a mortgage, and proceeds to the trustee’s sale by order of Superior Court. Also a separate sale of a lot on South Street with a new house and gas works, under a mortgage, will take place at 12 o’clock on February 1493 at the Raleigh courthouse.

Newbern Fair Opens With Races And Displayed Exhibits

At New Bern North Carolina the fair opened with trotting and running races won by Gipsy Queen and Dominion. Visitors arrived by train and a large display across rooms showcased fish game bait curio woods and taxidermy.
