Unprecedented success at Wilkesboro lot sale amid snow storm

Special to the State Chronicle reports North Wilkesboro real estate sales as 190 lots sold at about six dollars per front foot despite heavy snow. Buyers were mostly local residents connected with the Winston Land and Improvement Co. Also noted is Winston NC reports of 138 lots sold yesterday bringing $20,089 and 50 wooded lots at $1,745.
