Cold snap kills crops across North Carolina trucking belt

Three vice presidents were named and committees formed for the Raleigh centennial celebration and May festival. A railway extension committee was created to press Norfolk and Western to reach Raleigh. Separate Republican meeting at the court house featured Devereux Nichols Mott and a claim that third party splits could boost Republicans in Cleveland county.
