He logged 22 hours with 13 solo hours, and served 17 months as a ground aviation instructor in World War I. S/Sgt D D Talbot from the local recruiting office holds a private license and seeks commercial status as they prepare to depart with flight instructor Richard Wagner at the Joliet Municipal airport.
