Steel Works Club to stage Pickles for camp fundraiser
The Steel Works club presents the play Pickles November 5 6 and 7 at Joliet high school auditorium to benefit its summer camp for children. Cast includes 78 actors with Glenn J. Ford directing and Arthur Kelly noting last summer’s camp served over 500 undernourished children, two fifths of whom were children of steel workers.

Fortieth wedding anniversary observed Tuesday for Mr and Mrs Henry W Odenthal of 311 North Bluff. They married in St. Johns Catholic Church in 1890. Mrs Odenthal born in Joliet, lifelong resident. Mr Odenthal born in Germany 1866. They live at Bluff Street for over 25 years and have six children, four living Adolph Edgar Mary Louise and Walburga. Mr Odenthal runs a delicatessen at 245 North Bluff.
