Missing High School Boy Returns from Trip West
Charles Sawyer a 17 year old student who disappeared September 17 returned home after a trip to Oklahoma. His abandoned car was found along the Du Page river at Troy prompting several days of river and timberland searches. A letter from Oklahoma confirmed he was safe and en route home.
