Illinois Commission Cuts Gas Rates In Northern Illinois

The Illinois Commerce Commission ordered substantial gas rate reductions for Joliet Will County and northern Illinois. Woman and infant injured by truck in city crash

Mrs. Charles Murray and her 18 month old daughter Lois Mae were struck by a truck driven by Charles Wietting near the McDorough and Railroad streets intersection. Wietting said he did not know of the accident until a motorist flagged him after the impact.
