Chanukah Observed As Children Light Candles
Elaine Saper and Alan Ramhi eight year olds light Chanukah candles under Rabbi M. M. Hershman at the Jewish Congregation. Candles glow in Joliet homes as the festival recalls the Temple rededication of 165 B C with observances continuing at home until sundown Thursday December 6.
