Will County Supervisors Try Altering Relief Resolution
The Will County Board of Supervisors in a special session will seek to modify a prior resolution diverting 70 000 from the gas tax fund for poor relief. Chairman David H. Lentz says the original form did not meet the Emergency Relief Committee requirements but signified county cooperation. The first 70 000 installment was received last Tuesday, and relief officials estimate aid for about 5600 county families this month.
