Sammy Berk and His Band to Open Summer Dancing at Dellwood Park
Sammy Berk and his Rhythm Kings headline the Dellwood Park opening on May 20 for the summer dance season. The four year old group includes Merrill Ristan, Al Kerns, Johnny Winterstein, Russell Ghillain, Joe Lyons, Ray Rohel, Byron Snider, and Sammy Berk as director. Berk, a former Joliet Symphony prodigy, has led engagements across the Midwest and donates services to charities such as the American Legion and Beuprie Milk Fund.
