Augustana Choir to Sing at Bethlehem Lutheran Church

The Augustana college chorus of Rock Island Illinois will perform at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Sunday at 8 PM. The seventy voice ensemble is renowned as one of the nation’s finest a capella choirs. After this city’s concert it will perform in Orchestra Hall Chicago for the fifth straight year, with fifteen additional spring concerts planned under director Henry Weld.

Dr. S. Huebner, called the father of American insurance, will speak at Joliet High School auditorium on insurance and business. Joliet Association of Life Underwriters sponsors the event. Thomas A. Lauter, president, will greet him. Huebner heads the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joliet to witness the first midwest premier of McFadden's Flats at the Rialto theater on Monday and Tuesday. Walter C.
