Joliet Will County to Form Public Building Commission
Joliet and Will County leaders agreed to establish a Public Building commission. Appointments include W Franklin Barrett attorney Dale Nicholson and E H Swenson contractor with others named by Mayor Hennessy and Meade Baltz. The group will study proposals for a city county building project and begin choosing plans.

Youth 18 admits hurting woman and weapons incident
Richard N. Graham 18 also known as Richard Smigo of 316 Siegmund faced formal charges for break in and entry and attempted robbery after admitting to robbing a west side woman and attempting to rob a Joliet cab driver. He told authorities he consumed six quarts of beer and acted to scare someone. Bond set at $7,000. he remains jailed.
