Joliet Catholic High plans a fundraising theatre night at D Amico Piccolo Playhouse on March 31. The event features Mr and Mrs Pat O Brien in Love and Kisses with proceeds supporting spiritual, academic, athletic and cultural programs. Directed by Russell Girot with assistance from Jack Downey. All City Spring Concert by Joliet Township High Schools

The All City Orchestra of Joliet Township high schools performs a spring concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday March 21 in Joliet Central auditorium. Senior Karen Brockman features in Saint-Saens Concerto for Cello and Orchestra with other pieces by Grieg Sudahti Khachaturian Anderson Mantovani Styne Sondheim and more. The venue is 81 N Chicago St with hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Monday and Friday 9 a.m. to 7 30 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Joliet Study Titled On Downtown Parking And Snow Removal

The Joliet street and highway committee proposes a study on limiting downtown street parking during peak hours and an ordinance requiring snow removal on downtown sidewalks. The plan calls for Joliet Planning Commission and Parking Commission review Friday evenings Saturdays and Monday evenings for traffic flow. It also suggests owners keep sidewalks clear or city crews remove snow at the owners' expense.

Firemen To Serve Breakfast In Elwood March 2

Elwood Fire Department will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday March 2 at the Fireman’s Hall. Adults pay 1 and 50 cents for children. Proceeds fund new equipment. City officials comment on a related public building controversy and trial appeals proceed in Will County.

Drug Fair Slated at Silver Cross Hospital Joliet

Invitations have been sent to doctors nurses pharmacists and allied professionals to attend a drug fair at Silver Cross Hospital Joliet on Thursday March 25. The event on the third floor Eagle Street side runs 8 30 to 11 30 a m 1 to 4 p m and 6 30 to 9 p m with 33 drug manufacturers exhibiting and sending representatives to describe medications on display.
