Flowers Donated By Joliet Florists Used For Camp Grant Hospital
Private Burton Anderson and Sgt Willis Baker drove an army truck to Joliet to collect more than 10 000 flowers donated by Paul Briese Walter Schriber and the Joliet Floral Company. Anderson is in charge of landscaping at Camp Grant and the flowers will beautify the station hospital. Anderson, a Joliet native, enlisted March 18 and lives at 618 Cornelia Street.
