Telephone Employee Wins Theodore N. Vail Medal
Zachary Roseman of Chicago was honored by Illinois Bell with the Theodore N. Vail Medal and $100 after saving a baby’s life. On August 16, 1940, Roseman and his wife investigated screams, found a woman with her infant son, he administered first aid restoring a pulse within thirty minutes, though the infant died thirty hours later.
