Ferrell Butler Dies in Saginaw Michigan
Ferrell Butler aged 42 son of William J Butler of 101 Oakley Avenue died Tuesday morning in a Saginaw hospital of pneumonia. Funeral services will be held in Oshkosh Wisconsin his former home. He was born and raised here and graduated Joliet Township High School 1912. He worked in the theatre business and was exploitation manager of the Great States theatres in Michigan. Survived by his father a daughter Billie his wife and son in Michigan.

Revenue Men Capture Two Men After Thrilling Chase
Government agents seized an alcohol still capable of about 100 gallons per day at 604 Clay Street and arrested two men, Stanley Semplinski and Joseph Charnik, after a chase. The raid found mash, equipment, and alcohol ready for delivery. the still was demolished. The men face charges under the revenue stamp act and were to have a hearing in Chicago.

Hennessy Jones Prove Popular Primary Nominees for Mayor
Mayor William A. Hennessy and master mechanic George T. Jones led the field in the primary for mayor with general election set for April 16. Hennessy drew broad support though less than Jones, while Commissioner Samuel E. Shepley topped the commissioner race with 7,000 votes, far ahead of David H. Lentz. Police Magistrate John J. Nicholson led the slate with 9,948 votes. Fisher had 4,204.
