Joliet Boy Scout CouncilSees Growth and Camp Rainbow Milestone
The 1928 Boy Scout annual report shows 122 volunteers in Joliet area, 30 troops with 9 new units, Camp Rainbow dedicating 100 acres, and 418 boys passing Board of Review. Eagle awards were given to six Scouts and Paul Ohman, Camp Committee chair, also earned Eagle. Joliet citizens funded the camp and finances rose from 120 donors in 1926 to 1011 in 1928.
