Modern Marycrest Shopping Center Ground Broken
An architect’s sketch shows a new Marycrest Shopping Center on West Jefferson Street at Hammes Avenue. Ground broke yesterday for a 27‑store complex with first section due in six months and full completion over two years. Romy Hammes says new units will be added as retailers contract. A cantilever canopy and air conditioned stores mark the design.
